Say what?!

So I thought I would share with you some of the lingo that I hear on a daily basis....

*People who work in the service industry call you "madam"(pronounced madaaam) I personally dont like it!Makes me think of "Madam and Eve" from back home

*Kalas-this means something is "finished" or "done".(pronounced Kaa-laas)

*Taxi bubu-illegal taxi driver

*washrooms-the ladies or gents toilets (Often you hear a sales agent at work calling out the managers name and then the word "washroom") People donnot seem to talk in full sentences.

*"Kindly do the needful" is often used in emails at work instead of "Please can you action this" etc.Its a company line it seems.

Anyhoo thats just a few to share with you for now.....
